A Chartered Engineer and energy specialist with extensive experience across industrial energy efficiency, decarbonisation and renewable energy. Abhishek has led R&D and consultancy projects in a wide rage of industrial sectors including metals, minerals, chemicals, oil & gas, food and drink, data centres, waste-to-energy plants, casting, forging, manufacturing, glass, bricks, ceramics, etc. for clients across the UK, Europe, and Asia. He has secured over £3.1 million in grant funding as Principal Investigator (and £9.5 million in consortia) and delivered 75 industrial projects spanning waste heat recovery, fuel switching, process optimisation, R&D and AI applications for energy management. Abhishek was formerly Associate Professor in Energy Engineering and Director of Hallam Energy at Sheffield Hallam University. His core competencies include industrial energy auditing, CFD and thermal modelling, waste-to-energy systems, renewables, hydrogen and fuel switching, and techno-economic feasibility analysis. He is a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), Fellow of the IET (FIET), Chartered Engineer (CEng), and holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Université de Lorraine, France, and an MEng from INSA Toulouse.
